Abstract

The writer is presently Assistant Coordinator of the SEAMEO Project in Archaeology and Fine Arts or SPAFA which is based in SEAMES, Bangkok, Thailand. These archaeological researches were conducted while the author was attached to the University of San Carlos, Cebu City, Philippines, as Chairman of the Department of Graduate Anthropology. In this connection, special thanks are given to the Locsin Foundation for making the 1978 archaeological project possible.
