John Torres is currently one of the most promising young film-makers in the Philippines. His film, 'Salat', was recognized at the Cinemanila International Film Festival Ishmael Bernal Award for Young Cinema. Recently, the independent film-maker tied for the Fipresci-Netpac Critics Award at the 1 9th Singapore International Film Festival, with his debut full-length feature, 'Todo Todo Teros'.
